What is Next?

CRUMBS is now back in Winnipeg, but for very much longer. We depart very soon for our Euro Touro for our 9th annual hop across the pond. So there are limited chances to see CRUMBS and their serious show of comedy. So here you are:

1) CRUMBS at the Gas Station Theatre. This is the show you really want to be at. This is our 9th "Berlin or Bust" show. This is the fundraiser that we rely on for money that makes sure we can eat while we are on the road. This is the show that packs the house, the show that kills the comedy monster, the show that sustains us for months while we are touring through places that don't fully get our Prairie inside jokes.

The Berlin or Bust show is Saturday March 14th at 8pm (and this happens to be Pi Day 3.14 which is kind of nerdy but hey)

2) CRUMBS final show at the King's Head Pub. This show will be on Tuesday, March 3rd and will feature some special guests including DJ Mama Cuttsworth (while DJ Hunnicutt is on tour) and perhaps other cool folk too.

So Please come check out these shows in Winnipeg. And if you have the gumption to jump on a plane and follow us throughout Europe... or you know other folks who are already there, you can find out where we play right here.

The Gas Station Theatre is at 445 River Ave

The King's Head is at 120 King Street

CRUMBS defeated...

The 3rd time is not the charm...
CRUMBS performance at the Vancouver Theatresports Tournament failed to impress the harsh judges. There were a lot of booing (at the scores, not the scenes) but the judges were not swayed from their small numbers (damn judges). Still, the shows were amazing and there is/was so much talent and hilarium at the theatesports tournament this year.
We hope that nay blog readers and fans will forgive us for dropping the proverbial ball and letting it bounce down a storm sewer... I blame the economic downturn. At least nobody blew out their knee this year.

Thank yooze go out to:

Vancouver Theatresports League and all the players
Rapid Fire Theatre
Alistair Cook
Rene and Matt... Matt you owe me $2.50
Bellingham
Seattle
Paul Anthony
the Sunday Service (which we are going to perform with on this Sunday)

See folks make the trip worth it. A city is not the architecture and beautiful views (of which Vancouver has in spades (whatever "in spades" really means)) but about the people you know in it (though Vancouver has a bunch of crazy ya-hoos as well as the really cool folks we know).

CRUMBS in Vancouver

CRUMBS is in Vancouver!
Yes, we are back to defend out title, our title of most fun improv group ever! The Vancouver Theatresports League hosts a Theatresports tournament called the StValentine's Day Massacre. Two years ago CRUMBS were invited and we then rocked the stage and took home the Gold. Last year, we were invited back again to defend... this is when things got ugly. Somehow, Vancouver's improvisers sabotaged CRUMBS, forcing Lee into a dancing scene where he had his knee blown out. This lead to a second place finish and us only bringing home the Silver (not quite gold). Dad's Garage of Atlanta brought the Gold home (and they are cool folk, so, but...). Anyways, 2009, we are back again, and we are here for Gold (and blood).

Hey, I have finally met the wonderful dudes behind "The Cody Rivers Show" we had heard of them through so many folks and now I have laughed at their hilarity. They are from Bellingham (so naturally friends with the Upfront Theatre folks) but also currently on tour (so you should really check them out if you can, just click on their names).
