Yes, there is always a show at the King's Head on Tuesday nights. Yes, that is where Winnipeg can go for the best comedy in the city. Yes, this Tuesday is the CRUMBS portion of the weekly show. Yes, DJ Hunnicutt will be there to make the music happen. Yes, you may already know that we rotate through several comedy shows, there is the improv show of CRUMBS, the solo comedic performances of The Comedy Loser, the Stand-up of Shitz and Gigglez and the improv jam show of CRUMBS & Friends. Yes, it is all good and fresh comedy. Yes, you should come to the show, laugh and have a good time. Yes, it is FREE.

The Winnipeg iF... Improv Festival is over

And now we can all rest and get over our post-festival sicknesses.

What is up with that anyways? Every time we go through a major festival or a huge task, our bodies then get sick. It is like our bodies just sit back and wait, let us finish what we are doing and then tap us on the shoulder, politely cough and then let their voice be heard. Maybe we work ourselves too hard in those times, we stress our bodies past the breaking point. Either way, our bodies do have the common sense and decency to wait until AFTER the event to let their opinion loose. It is just too bad our bodies choose to communicate to us through disease and not with a cleverly written note.
